A quick visit to check up on my favorite cathedral, still in clean up phase after the fire earlier this year.
Yet another fond farewell to Europe from high above the clouds over Slovenia. One quick detour on the way though...

This is a famous palace, judging by the number of people taking its picture. I had 20 minutes on land and spent most of it dodging tourists foolishly bringing immense suitcases to a city with 1000 bridges.
Most of my time was spent on the Vaporetti, but it was a great way to see this amazing place in a hurry...
Owing to the bankruptcy of an airline, we had to scramble to rebook my friend's trip home. I ended up with 2½ spare hours and made the most of it...
